I bought these books and the next three in this series in August 2015 and then waited three months for the final instalment to come out in order to read them all one after another!! I know... crazy!!! My reasoning was that I knew I was going to love them because I love all of Jaymin Eve's books and didn't want to read the first six and feel like my world would collapse while waiting for the final instalment... yes, this is my reality! Waiting the three months wasn't as hard as it seems when the books are this good. Hands down the BEST I've read!!Jaymin Eve has this uncanny ability to write about places that come to life in your imagination and make you want to pitch a tent and never leave! I read all seven books in four days and felt fully satiated. It is one of the very few times where I have read a series and never once though of alternate endings or felt like the conclusion wasn't resolved, they were and are PERFECT!
Amazing characters, imaginative locations, an emotional rollercoaster (in a yay I'm loving this, not stop before I spew). Loved every single thing about this series, cannot recommend it enough or the author. The review doesn't even do it justice, love your work Jaymin Eve xx

Jaymin Eve has just become one of my new favorite authors, ranking along side Christine Feehan. Her characters are just as powerful individually as they are collectively. I love how Fury doesn't automatically fall to her knees and pray to the God Abby. Her trust and friendship must be earned. I will definitely be buying the remaining books in the series but will save them to read and savor while I'm recovering from knee replacement surgery.
Loved this box set! I read Book 1 months ago but when I saw the box set I couldn't resist. I read First World again to get familiar with the characters again and didn't stop until I completed book three. Book one tells the story of how Abby and her best friend Lucy get taken from New York into Abby's true home - First World, where Abby learns how to control her powers. Book two has Abby and Lucy traveling to another world where they must convince another half-walker to return to First World with them. The description of this world was fabulous and made me long for the ocean.Book three has them traveling to the smoking hot world of Crais where they find Fury. Throughout all three books, there was vivid scene descriptions, fighting, betrayal, love, friendship, laughter. Very well rounded characters and plots. Time to move on to book four.
I have to say that I thought the first book, First World, seemed a little boring and I didn't think I would continue the series beyond that. Then, however, I read the 2 sample chapters for book 2, Spurn, and I was immediately hooked. Now I can't wait to see how the series plays out in its entirety. It keeps getting better and better with every chapter. The only thing I find that's a little odd is that books 2 and 3 start off from the points of view of the new characters we're going to interact with, but after only a couple of chapters apiece, everything else is from Abigail's viewpoint. I mean I know it's primarily her story Jaymin Eve is telling, but once started, she should allow for more of the other viewpoints to be seen during the course of these stories. It would make them out of this world fantastic, I think.
I was worried that it might be too youthful of a story for me, but I surprisingly enjoyed the story very much and the author has a very smooth flowing writing style that was easy to read. I would recommend this series to anyone of any age.
I have to confess- I did not want to read this series. Seriously, I did not want to read this series. I read Dragon Marked by this author and LOVED it. PUFFY HEART loved it, as in my favorite read of 2015 so far loved it, and thought for sure that there was no way that her first series would be as good as her second. So, I put it off, read other series, re-read Dragon Marked, stalked her twitter account for Dragon Mystics teasers. First World ended up being free on and I thought why not- I had nothing else to read. Opening it I knew just knew it was a big mistake- I ended up reading all of the released books for this series in a four day period. The Hubby thought I was crazy and now I am compulsively checking on a release date for the last book in the series.

Great story! It's been one of the best stories I've read in the last year or so. Character development was legit, word created believable yet super unique and creative. Abi gets to make tough decisions and I appreciate how things were not so clear cut with good and bad...and how the characters are complex with good and bad attributes...they make mistakes and rise up to challenges. For me it was just a great mix between one of the best fantasy worlds and settings I've read and solid characters whose choices affect them and allow for growth. You get tired of all those books where the main couple is supernaturally connected and mainly on a physical level so that you wonder what their relationship would have looked like with just who they are...thankfully, this book is not one of those, even though they have a supernatural connection, their character, choices, strengths and weaknesses verify who they are and contribute to a believable, albeit fantastical relationship!
I just read these books for the second time. It's only been two months since I read them the first time -that's how good these are. Jasmine Eve's sense of humor is amazing. I laugh out loud quite a bit when reading her books. They also make me feel every other emotion under the sun. Her books are an amazing ride. Once you start you literally can't put the book down (even when I just read these).
So if you are planning on starting First World you may as well buy the bundle and the rest of the Walker Saga because you will be hooked! I can't wait for book 7 to come out at the end of this year. But for now I will enjoy re-reading the first 6 over and over again! Can't get enough of these characters!
